Stand with Students
Supporting California community college students and families facing hunger.
As the situation stands today, the federal shutdown will devastate food assistance programs that are a lifeline to more than 275,000 California community college students and their families. These students may receive no food assistance benefits in November, and this problem could worsen if the shutdown persists.
How Your Gift Helps
Your generous donation provides emergency food support for community college students and their families during this critical time. Your gift will help students put food on the table, ensuring they can focus on their education without the burden of hunger.
Even if the shutdown ends today, our students still need this support. Nearly 1 in 2 California community college students experience food insecurity at the best of times. They are resilient, motivated, and working hard, often balancing school, work, and family responsibilities while pursuing their higher education goals. They do it to create a better future for themselves, their families, and their communities.
Thank you for giving today.
