Nearly 1 in 2 California community college students experience food insecurity at the best of times. Any unexpected cost or delayed support can stop them in their tracks on their path out of poverty. Your generous donation provides emergency support for community college students and their families in this time of great uncertainty. Your gift will help low-income students put food on the table, ensuring they can focus on their education without the burden of hunger.

Your gift to the Foundation for California Community Colleges provides students in the Fresh Success Program with direct financial support for food and groceries. The Fresh Success Program helps low-income students who receive CalFresh (SNAP) benefits gain employability skills, stay focused on their studies, and build a strong foundation for family-sustaining careers.

They are resilient, motivated, and working hard, often balancing school, work, and family responsibilities while pursuing their higher education goals. They do it to create a better future for themselves, their families, and their communities.
